This Privacy Policy explains how TrendCo (“Trendco,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Trendco field-service mobile application (the “App”) and our text-message (SMS) program. Trendco operates a vendor-managed inventory program that stocks workplace personal protective equipment (PPE) vending machines at warehouse and distribution sites.

The App and our SMS program are intended for Trendco’s own employees, contracted field technicians, and authorized site personnel — not the general public.

1. Information we collect
Account information. When Trendco creates an account for you, we store your name, email address, role (for example, technician, site associate, administrator), and the sites you are assigned to. Authentication is handled by our backend provider; we do not sell or share this information.

Mobile phone number. If you receive text messages from Trendco, we store the mobile phone number you provided to Trendco management during onboarding so we can send operational notifications.

App usage and service data. When you use the App, we process operational data tied to your role — such as machine inventory levels, service-visit records, schedules, and vending transaction summaries — so the App can do its job. This data relates to Trendco’s equipment and operations, not to consumer purchases.

Device and log data. Like most apps, our systems may automatically record basic technical information such as device type, operating-system version, and timestamps of requests, used to keep the service secure and reliable.

2. How we use information
Provide and operate the App and your account.
Send operational text messages — app install and account-setup instructions, schedule and service reminders, and service updates.
Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
Comply with our legal and contractual obligations.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. Text messaging (SMS) program
Trendco sends operational text messages only to employees and contracted field technicians who provided their mobile numbers directly to Trendco as part of their employment or onboarding. Messages may include app install instructions, account setup, schedule reminders, and service updates.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your App account. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is sold to third parties.

4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the service:

Supabase — Secure database, authentication, and backend hosting for the App.
Twilio — Delivery of operational text messages (SMS).
Apple App Store / TestFlight — Distribution of the iOS App.
These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of TrendCo, our users, or the public.

5. Data retention
We retain account and operational data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion of your account information by contacting us using the details below.

6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — including encrypted connections and access controls — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.

7. Children’s privacy
The App and SMS program are for TrendCo’s workforce and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above and post the updated policy at this address. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other reasonable means.
